In Honor of Abbie
This beautiful girl stole our hearts the moment we saw her. She was a force to reckon with as she loved intensely. She was the happiest when she was with her favorite people. She chose her boy, our son, as her own. She was his best girl. Together they celebrated the good times, and Abbie was Michael's comfort during hard times. Abbie lived! Aside from experiencing the world of bird hunting, Abbie camped in the open and slept in a hammock; she rode in a canoe during fishing trips. Abbie's favorite game was fetching from the water. She was a fish like her momma. At home, Abbie distinguished herself from the other dogs because she was the only one who slept in the humans' beds. She was sassy and believed keeping the other dogs in line was her job. 
Late this May, Abbie was diagnosed with cancer. She left this world only ten weeks after her best friend, Emma. 
Our hearts are broken!
