WELCOME

We started on this path nineteen years ago when Walter came into our lives. We have had several bird dogs previously, but after we acquired Walter, we knew German Shorthairs were our breed. While we called him The Devil for the first two years of his life, it was with a wink and lots of love. Walter was our family/hunting companion. 
Because one GSP is never enough, my special little girl, Emma, joined our family three years after Walter. Emma turned out to be a life changer for us. Emma, an easygoing, intelligent girl, taught us about the competitive bird dog world. Because I do not hunt but love the outdoors, I took over her training, and through the encouragement of friends, I started campaigning her in AKC Hunt Tests and AKC Field Trials. Her talents proved ribbon worthy, and she quickly obtained many titles. 
We are now a GSP family. We live with our dogs and continue our adventure with many special friends in the world of pointing dogs.
 
Our first Bella Gundogs litter was Solo X Emma in 2012. We are very proud of that litter. All of the pups turned out to be talented bird dogs. Five out of the eight puppies have field and show titles. 
Currently, we live in Middle Tennessee. 
In addition to our fur kids, we have two grown children and two amazing grandchildren. Our plan for the future is to raise a litter now and then.
